Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The HR Assistant will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and other HR-related tasks. This role is a full remote work setup.

The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department. The HR Assistant will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and other HR-related tasks. This role is a full remote work setup.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist with posting job openings on various platforms.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communication.
- Prepare new hire paperwork and facilitate the onboarding process.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility.
- Assist in new hire orientation.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic.
- Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Generate HR reports as needed.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Schedule meetings and appointments.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents and communications.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment.
- Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration as needed.
- Employee Relations:
- Assist with employee inquiries and provide timely and accurate information.
- Support HR initiatives and programs.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Compliance:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Assist in maintaining up to date knowledge of HR best practices.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus.
