Join a dynamic growth marketing agency where precision meets creativity
At STERRY, we're not your average marketing agency—we're the rocket fuel behind crowdfunding and e-commerce success. Since day one, we've helped clients generate over $100 million in trackable online revenue through strategies rooted in measurable performance.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Technical Designer / Pattern Maker to join our team. In this remote role, you will handle both technical construction documentation and precise digital pattern drafting, utilizing advanced apparel software and 3D prototyping tools to bridge the gap between design and factory.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Design
  • Digital Tech Packs: Build, update, and maintain comprehensive digital tech packs, including detailed bill of materials (BOM), measurement charts, and vector construction diagrams.
  • Virtual Fit Evaluation: Lead or participate in remote fit sessions via video conference. Evaluate fit using high-resolution photos, videos, or 3D digital avatars.
  • Spec Management: Establish and grade point-of-measurement specs across all size ranges to maintain consistent brand sizing.
  • Global Factory Liaison: Communicate asynchronously with overseas and domestic manufacturers to troubleshoot construction, sewing, and assembly issues via digital PLM or email.

Digital Pattern Making
  • CAD Pattern Drafting: Translate 2D design sketches into precise production-ready patterns using digital CAD software.
  • 3D Virtual Prototyping: Utilize 3D simulation tools to test fabric drape, tension, and fit digitally, reducing the reliance on physical sample iterations.
  • Digital Grading & Nesting: Oversee the grading of production patterns digitally to ensure proportional fit across all sizes.
  • File Management: Organize, export, and deliver clean digital pattern files directly to factory production teams.

What We Are Looking For
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or related field is a plus—but what truly matters is your attitude and ability to grow. Eagerness to learn is just as valued as experience.
  • Software Mastery: 3+ years of expert-level experience in digital pattern-making software (Clo3D, Browzwear, Gerber Accumark, Optitex, or Lectra) and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Industry Experience: 3–5 years of apparel industry experience in technical design and pattern drafting.
    • Must have proven experience in apparel development, with specific expertise in intimate wear.
  • Independent Problem Solving: High autonomy and proven ability to troubleshoot complex garment construction issues without hands-on supervision.
  • Strong Remote Workspace: Access to a reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet space suitable for video fit reviews.
  • Portfolio Requirement: Please submit a portfolio showcasing your technical design work, including digital tech packs, CAD patterns, 3D prototypes, and fit evaluations. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
